Hi I’m Emily. 46, work a full and a part time job, parent 2 teens and married for almost 21 years
I am hoping to clean up my diet again loose 15 pounds and drop the spare tire I somehow gained in my mid section over the past 1.5 years - yay perimenopause!!
Question: how do people handle events while doing the cut? I am supposed to go to a 50th birthday dinner Saturday night and feel like I can’t attend or will make everyone feel awkward being there and not eating
Emily all the advice below is great! Don’t cave! Everyone needs to gift themselves these two weeks of healing and it’s not worth caving. Look at it as if u were to get a procedure the next day or bloodwork that required you being “fasted”. It’s overall health here. Short term pain for long term gain. not a long term plan to never have fun or enjoy food again.
